Quiet, powerful, fast, easy adjustable speed, can be used with hot/boiling liquids (on the stove top while cooking), durable cord, handy storage container with lid and measurements, and best of all, ALL of the components except the handheld part are dishwasher safe -- SUPER EASY TO CLEAN, as soon as I'm done with it, it goes directly into the dishwasher! This is perfect for gravy, stews, soups, purees, creams, etc. I've used mine for all of these and more over the last 5-6 years. There's also a 1-year manufacturer's warranty on this too.
